In 1985 kocht Wilco zijn eerste bedrijf met een oppervlakte van 4500 m² voor de teelt van jaarrond- chrysanten. Na vier jaar noeste arbeid samen met zijn vrouw Martina volgde de stap naar Bleiswijk. Daar werd in 1989 De Landscheiding opgericht met een oppervlakte van 13.000 m². Inmiddels is het hele bedrijf vernieuwd en heeft LS Santini een totale oppervlakte van 32.000 m².

History
Wilco bought his first company in 1985 with 4500 m² of space for the cultivation of year-round chrysanthemums. After four years of hard work, Wilco and his wife Martina moved the business to Bleiswijk. There, De Landscheiding was established in 1989 with 13,000 m² worth of space. The entire company has since been renewed and LS Santini now has a total surface area of 32,000 m².
For more than thirty years, LS Santini has upheld high quality standards for the fresh Santini chrysanthemums we harvest every day. The design of our production process is guided by sustainability, quality, diversity and continuity.
As a family-owned business, we value a careful and gradual breeding approach, combined with a thoughtfully curated range of varieties. All varieties are harvested daily and sorted by maturity and weight. We harvest only stems that have reached the optimal stage of maturity. As a result, we consistently deliver a uniform, high-quality product with maximum usability.

Wilco Hofman
Owner
Wilco started growing outdoor chrysanthemums at the age of nineteen. He bought his first company for growing year-round chrysanthemums in 1985, and the rest is history. To this day, Wilco's primary focus has been and always will be cultivation. And as a byproduct of his passion, he has infected his daughter Juliska and sons Leon and Twan with his love for the Santini.
Juliska van der Breggen – Hofman
Owner
Initially Juliska wanted nothing to do with her father's business, but the lure of the Santini business, ultimately proved too strong. Now, Juliska takes care of all financial and commercial business and together with her father and brother, she paves the way for the future of the family business.
Leon Hofman
Owner
Although Leon grew up among the chrysanthemums at his father Wilco’s nursery, he initially chose to gain experience at another company in the sector. His entrepreneurial spirit, however, soon called him back, and in 2022 he returned to his family business. Leon is responsible for energy management, HR, and cultivation planning.

Twan Hofman
Cultivation Specialist
Since 2020, Twan has gradually been following in the footsteps of his father, Wilco. With his green thumb, he shares responsibility for cultivation and delves passionately into soil life. Working with fungi and bacteria is part of his daily routine. He spends hours studying symbiosis, the soil food web, and natural cultivation methods; knowledge he successfully applies in practice. In this way, Twan brings a fresh and sustainable perspective on growth to the family business.
